Why is my computer downloading SWTOR so slowly?

Hi, I just bought a digital copy of star wars the old republic about an hour or so ago and it is taking an ETERNITY to download. I realize the game is huge (20gb+) but what i noticed is that my laptop is downloading it at a very slow rate. (a little over 500kb/s) I did some download speed tests earlier and they were all around the same (15mb/s-18mb/s) and i'm normally used to downloading files at around 1.5mb/s. So why is it so slow while i'm downloading this? I have already disconnected my iphone and my other laptops from the internet to clear up some bandwidth but it isn't really helping. Is there anything I can do to speed this up? At this rate it is going to take about another 5 hours to download! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! :D

It's probably not you but them. I did read on SWTOR forum that lot's of people have that issue.
