i was never fan of gaming laptops

they are expencive and you will mostly never be able to run intensive games maxed out

so i would go for cheaper one that will allow me to play games like WOW and save money for PC upgrade

All I really plan to play is Counterstrike Source and maybe the new Call of Duty, I hate mmorpg's.

Just get a nice gaming desktop !!! Much more upgradeable.. I had a gaming laptop and it gets overheated quite easily and was just annoying.. Go go desktop imo

I know but I need the portability of a laptop for school, I don't plan on playing anything like crysisjust good old CSS and maybe some of the newer titles that come out.

I suggest buying a cheap $400 laptop for word processing schoolwork etc. and spending $800 on a gaming desktop which you can get more than the performance of a $1200 laptop

Stay away form gaming laptops... Go for a desktop. Anyway, the MSI model has a faster graphics card.

YA a gaming laptop is really not good for gaming at all. I bought a Alienware w the highest available internals at the time and it still got real hot and never held a good frame rate. yuo have to run all games scaled down and dont even think about running anyother programs in the back like itunes or aim or nothing. I traded mine for a desktop and could not be happier after I upgraded the video card. When laptop become upgradable they will be ok but they just never can stay up to par with games right now

Get a nice Asus laptop, it'll chug away at CS:S just fine, just don't expect mind blowing performance in modern games (which a majority of laptop users don't even use their laptops for)
