1920*1200 on my Samsung SyncMaster 245B.
how does that look? I've always looked at monitors in the sense of Pixels per square inch. but i've been looking at getting a nice 40-46" plasma and was unsure if pixels become visable.1680 x 1050 in 20" in monitor, 1920 x 1080 in 46" plasma display.

I usually play games at 1680x1050 and sometimes at 1024x768 (No scaling) if it's too much for my GPU. While we're at it though, may I ask what's so great about high resolutions? Sharpness is defined by pixel pitch and not by resolution so it's not sharpness. Is it the larger working space? If so, then low resolution textures in games simply appear bigger and it's more noticeable whereas when playing at low resolutions, despite being smaller they will be less noticeable.Adversary16i enjoy larger screens, easier to see, more immersive and such. bigger screens mean you need more pixels or else it's stretching

Looks fine but IMO the immersion in fps in a 20" monitor at 50 cm is higher than in a 46" display at 250 cm, because the angle of vision is higher at short distance; the good part of the tv is since the resolution is very high and you're playing at certain distance the aliasing is less evident if you turn off this feature in high demanding games as Crysis or ArmA II.
