What is your GOTY, as of right now?

For me, Deus Ex is just pushing Portal 2 into 2nd place.

I've played DEHR for about 11 hours now, and feels like so much more than that...and not in a bad way. There are so many decisions to make and so many different approaches that it has immense replayability. The style is bang on for a futuristic noir-style conspiracy and the fact that you can just incapacitate your enemies adds a semblance of "realism" to the whole thing.

Portal 2 was great - the comedy was perfectly played and the challenges truly innovative, particularly given how clever the original Portal was. The only reason it loses out for me is that it lacks replayability - you can play it more than once, but the challenge is gone since most levels have one solution. But Portal 2 would get any scripting and artistic award, it's just so cleverly written.

Easily Deus Ex HR. Absolutely phenomenal game! Although, I have a feeling when Torchlight 2 comes out it will be a strong contender. :D

honestly, I dont know...there have been so many incredibly amazing games released this year, with a lot more to come!

But, as of right now, I am loving Deus Ex 3. It is everything and more that I hoped for.

Portal 2 was amazing, but I think its replayability may hold it back.

I really liked L.A. Noire for the 360. :)

Probably Deus Ex so far, but honestly, it's going to be Skyrim pretty much for sure ;)

While Skyrim might be added to the discussion, as of right now my top picks are The Witcher 2, Portal 2, Deus Ex:HR, and dead space 2

The Witcher 2: Very fantastic game that lacked a little of the atmopshere from the first game, but overall great.

Portal 2: Really nothing to complain about in this game (except maybe on the easy side more often than not) but it was an almost perfect game for me

Deus Ex HR: Only about 9 hours in but I'm having such a blast with this game. IMHO it lived up to the original in so many ways!

Dead Space 2: Definitely the surpise of the list, but this game just stuck with me so much more than I thought it would. What a great way to kick off 2011 too! Everything about the game is just so polished and the athmosphere is out of this world and any problems I had with the first game were fixed in this one. One of the best SP games to come out of EA in many years. This game doesn't recieve nearly enough recognition.

There are more I would like to list but right now I think those are my prime 4 on the pc. It has been such an amazing year already and we still have 4 months left!

Portal 2. Will a game possibly take my GOTY from Portal 2? If Diablo III comes out, then yes. When Battlefield 3 comes out, it has a very good chance.

The games everyone else have mention here have all been good but, I'm still waiting for Skyrim.

I would say Portal 2 because I thought the single player was literally perfect. Second would have to be Witcher 2 follow by Shogun 2.

At the moment I can't split Witcher 2 and Dx3 easily. I'll give them a few months and then re-ask the question. Dead Space 2 is a close third. nutcrackr

Right now my GOTY is Deus Ex HR ... followed by TW 2 ... but in the end of this year it would definetly be changed ... probably GW2 and Skyrim on it's tail ...

I know this wouldnt be a GOTY for THIS year, but right now Steam has Borderlands GOTY edition for sale for 7.49 which incl ALL the DLC add-ons. I jumped at it first thing! woot

I know that is exactly how I feel...simply too many good games. Picking a GOTY right now is like asking a parent to pick their favorite child lol
