Starcraft - off and on since '98. I was BIG into it around 2000 clocking hours upon hours. I play it more leisurely now (when it feels like working on B.net).
Probably Warcraft 3, I've played it off and on ever since it came out. I was actually just playing it, i've never beat the game actually, so I want to do that.
If you count non-pc games, i've been playing Super Mario Bros. since the late 80's, so that is almost 20 years probably, I started playing that when I was 3 or 4.
Same here. I have a rather on and off relationship with the game. A few months will pass with new releases coing and going (and being enoyed all the while) but it never fails I get the itch for a little DII eventually:P
Also, I find myself coming back to Grim Fandango about once a year, as it's a nice amount of time to forget the solutions to most of the puzzles (granted, a trip through 13 isles at the grocery store is enough for me to forget where I parked, so take that with a grain of salt)
Definitely The Sims 2. It has incredible replayability, but I get bored of it from time to time, but when a new Expansion Pack arrives I'm enthusiastic about it again. It is the only game from 2004 that I still play. In fact it's one of the few games that I play constantly.
probably sims 2 for about 2 years, i just got to so addicted to it, or when i was younger i was so addicted to pokemon games which lasted me for around 4 years. AOE 1 + 2 kept me busy for ages i remember as well.
The series I have been following for as long as I can remember are Football Manager series (formally Championship Manager) and the FIFA series. I have played almost every version of the respective series since 1998. I now own FIFA 08 (360) and Football Manager 07 (PC). The Football Manager series I think I will never stop playing, it's endless fun for me.
