when a game detects it works so so
sometimes it flops hard.
geforce experience says i need to run my settings on batman: AC on "custom high". excuse me mr tech pplz.. i have a gtx 680 and a core i7 gen 1.. i think i can max it out hurr durr. it also did this to me with saints row.
best advice i can give is to check your graphics settings anyways. i will do most of the work for you, but it will hardly be as advertised.
For years I opened the Nvidia Control Panel by double clicking the tray icon.
Now it opens the Experience window and my life is in complete disarray.
Even worse, I tried it again now and Experience wants to install an update. I can't close the window as the only option is to press Install. Which I'm not doing because I also have some sensitive work stuff opened and I won't risk a reboot or a crash or whatever.
tl;dr: it's a miserable experience.
I also have a pair of GTX 680s, core i7 processor, 25 GB RAM and have always had no issues with settings: everything to max! When I first checked this program's recommended settings out, they were all way too low. An I mean LOW! Picking up on what a few others said: about 3/4 of my games aren't on the list. Not much point in it based on those issues alone.
Add that since an update or two ago, it has NEVER actually done anything but the 'Preparing for Installation' message. I have left it open for as long as 14 hours to see if it would actually install anything and it never gets past that part. The only way out is kill it in Task Manager. nVidia blew it on this one methinks.
Having a piece of software automatically set my graphics setting would feel as wrong as having someone build my computer for me.
Cray XK7 is what I run. I wouldn't know about your peasant machines.
Gtfo, i have e-penis over 9000, happy ? Troll...
