Someone help me please choose which video card please on the Geforce family video cards. Either I get he 512mb 8800GT or the 512mb 9600GT. Even though the 8800GT isn't 2.0, it's still good anyways. Besides, my mobo doesn't support PCI Express x16 2.0 anyways for my 9600GT. So can anybody help me choose which one I should get? My budget is around $180-$280
Yes, Thank you. I actually decided I'm going for the 8800GT since it's better by looking at the specs and researching about it just right now.
However, the problem is if the card will actually fit on my otherboard and will fit my case as well since it will take two expansion slots. Oh, in case you guys are wondering... the specs on my signature/avatar thing is old. So I'm planning on upgrading it soon just for your information.. lol.
It should fit both fine (ie. the modo and case). I agree with your choice of cards too. Be wary of rebates though. If they want you to cut the original upc off the back and send it in, you might be better off losing the 30 bucks, as it can make exchanges a pain if the card shunts out while still under warranty. The Witcher is also one heck of a game.
