I am upgrading my Cpu from Intel core i7-2600K to i7-4770K and im confused on motherboard.
My Two options right now are GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SOC and MSI Z97 XPOWER AC.So my question is which one should i get and why or please recommend me a new one.(im tilting towards the gigabyte one as it has 1 x SATA Express)
Thank you.
PS: I'm not waiting for the i7-4790 :p
Also suggest me which RAM to buy as by the end of the month ill be upgrading that tooo :)
Those MOBOs are highest end, are you sure you want to pull such money on such expensive MOBO? if you're not going to SLI/Crossfire up to 4 GPUs and use it as a benchmark rig, I really can't recommend you getting one of those.
About the RAM, you'll have to answer my question 1st so I'd know if you're going for benchmarking or just regular gaming.
Any simple Z87 or Z97 MOBO for 75$ and above, but not a 200-300$ MOBOs.

If you're looking for SLI/Crossfire in the future: http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/motherboard/#m=7,8,18,27&c=89,99&sort=a8&l=2 there're plenty to choose from (100-120$ range, I recommend on the ASRock Fatal1ty Killer)
