ok so this is the second time I've bought this game because the first time I thought that it was the disk but now idk. I put the disk in the computer and hit the auto run like the directions say. after that the only thing that shows up is a pop up that says "please insert disk one" and I have disk one in there! Does ANYONE have any idea what might be going on?????? I'm really tired of games acting like crap for me!
Try this: Copy the entire CD contents to your HDD. I don't mean copy it to another disc...I mean go into the CD, select all, copy it and then paste it on your HDD. Click on Setup and go along it with. If it works when the PC asks you to insert disc 2 insert the real disc. That might work.

Well it's impossible to even get past the installtion page without The Sims 2 installed... no, what im saying is that i know he/she has sims 2 installed already. but in order to install the sime 2 NL first put in the sims 2 core disk and then follow it up with the expansion.

Well it's impossible to even get past the installtion page without The Sims 2 installed... no, what im saying is that i know he/she has sims 2 installed already. but in order to install the sime 2 NL first put in the sims 2 core disk and then follow it up with the expansion. That won't work. You need to have gotten it off the NL discs alone.
