1) Periods at the end of sentences make you much more easily understood.
2) Your assumption is not accurate. Touch screens work through absolute positioning on the screen, whereas mouse movement is relative movement. Games designed for mouse movement do not necessarily work well with touchscreens. Fallout 1 and 2 do not work well with touchscreens at all (clicks don't register properly, you can't use the touchscreen to scroll and pan your view, etc).
To the op: Pretty much anything on the Windows 8 store will have a touchscreen control scheme option. Beyond that, some Steam games work decently like PvZ, World of Goo, Crayon Physics, Fieldrunners 1 and 2 (mostly), the Sam and Max series, etc. Civ V also has a touchscreen control option.
