Well I prefer SP experience anyway so most of my favourites are SP. Fallout 1 and 2, Kotor 1 and 2, The Curse of Monkey Island, Bloodlines, Fable, Vice City, Riddick, Max Payne, Mafia. I'm preeetty sure none of those have MP.EntwineX

Dont get mafia it doesnt work on curret or even recent tech. in fact its horrible i've never found a single pc that can run it. Its either got an incompatable processor or its too old and slow.

What don't you like about them game? Is it the Star Wars setting? This game alone is better than the 3
prequel movies combined and is one of the best RPGs ever IMO. I am sure others will agree too.Ā

What's your problem !? That's just my opinion, anyway SW KOTOR is Game of the Year 2003 and has won over 100 awards and is considered by many the greatest RPG ever. Oblivion is good, but very boring and dull and it's more like a FPS not a RPG, Morrowind is a lot better. If you don't like Star Wars, that's your opinion and keep it to yourself.

do you even know what the term rpg means? if your forced to be the good guy its NOTĀ an rpg.Ā the term rpg isnt anything to do with status. its the abillty to choose who you want to be. oblivion gives you that choice.

Oblivion is one of the most shallowest RPGs ever. Its not even a true RPG, more like an Action RPG, because your choices in game aren't as varied, say like in KOTOR, or even in Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind.Ā

Well being a good character is still playing a role and fits into a role playing game even though that game might not be very open. Also have you ever played KOTOR? If so you do realize that you can play as a dark side character so you are not forced to be a good guy. Some may disagree, but I thought Call of Duty 2's singleplayer was one of the best World War Two experiences I've ever had. I enjoyed it more than the first Call of Duty.PC-Gamer
IMO CoD games are really special (atleast for me :P ) for having awesome single player missions and having fulfilling multiplayer games :)Ā

Ā You bring no arguments to the table why I am a "kotor fanboi" and you bring no proof as to why I am wrong. Why shouldn't I just consider you another true-RPG hater who prefers simple-dumbed down games?
How about Galactic Civ II and Neverwinter Nights (which owns KotOR in gameplay and roleplaying)
NWN>Oblivion btw, especially with user made modules.Ā

I hope this was sarcasm, because in KOTOR you actually can choose between being good or evil, whereas in Oblivion you're pretty much forced to save the world and be the "good guy". Hell, KOTOR even changes your character's face to match his alignment, and most/all quests have dialogue with various options and outcomes. By comparison, Oblivion's quest choices are much more limited.
If it wasn't sarcasm, play KOTOR first k?
There's a lot of choices, but for me, I'd say:
1. Jedi Knight2 - Jedi Outcast (force powers were awesome.Ā Really made you feel like a Jedi)
2. Max Payne2 (as good as the first MP game was, MP2 was better)
3. KOTOR1 (very immersive.Ā Great original story.Ā And long.Ā Definitely got your money's worth on that one).
