Steam problem 732897

when i try to start steam it gives me a file error 732897 saying steam encountered a problem and needs to close i am using xp. i really hate this because steam is the only way i can acces my games please help. also i am not very computer savy so please dont use big words.

Have you tried uninstalling steam and re-installing? You won't loose anything after you log back into your account.

just google steam and reload from the web site.
