It's about time the first two games found their way to steam and at $13.49 for all three it's a steal for anyone who hasn't played these great games.

Also. Could this be leading up to more Thief 4 news at E3? ;)

Are they fixed to play on modern computers? I have the original Thief (damn zombies would always freak me out.). Could never get that thing to work other than on an old Pentium with a Voodoo 2 card. And I have a disk version of Dark Shadows that was always very crash happy and a bit glitchy...

Any word on the compatability?

If it isn't fully compatable with windows 7, I may as well dust off the CD ROM and swear at that until it works.

Even though Thief basically invented the sneak genre I think £3.49 is a bit pricey for a 14 year old game. Thief 3 though is definitely worth it. Just make sure you install the high res texture mod.

I would agree, this deal for Thief is a steal :)

My dad, who isn't that much of a gamer, did enjoy playing through quite a bit of the original game years ago.

I don't have any issues getting the first Thief game to work on my computer. I played it for a while a few months back before I did a reformat on my computer and things worked just fine. Only issue I had was getting used to the controls again.

Never did get a copy of Thief II though...always wanted to, but never did. Now might be my time.
