So who pre-ordered Windows 7?

I just pre order windows 7 home edition premium from Amazon uk 8) for 43£ included shipping.

This is actually the first OS i m buying ( always got an os from the pc manufactor) I did it cus i m using windows 7 rc and is awesome. and there is no way i m going back to vista.

So how about you?

Funny they dont mention whether its 32Bit or 64Bit, iam just assuming they are offering both on one license and you just choose which you want during setup.

nope its until the 1st week of August 2009 i believe. I know its 2009 for sure just not sure what day in August exactly cant remember.

The beta expires in august, the RC expires in summer 2010. I pre-ordered it a few weeks ago from newegg.

THe RC expires June 1 2010 butbecomes useless already March 1 (shuts down every 2 hours).

I have 3 copies of Windows 7 Ultimate ready. And to go along with that, I plan on getting 3 copies of Snow Leoperd when that rolls out too (I love OS X but not the hardware)

not me, rc1 is a mess on my machine. While vista runs like a champ.

I ordered a copy a 7 Home Premium, and will probably be running the RC on my comp until it finally gets to me.

Well I dont think Im getting Windows 7, wanted too but my X-Fi sound card will not work correctly in latest build. Keep on getting SCP affect no matter what I do. I've tried new,old,beta drivers, a fresh Win 7 install no help. I wonder if anyone here has a solution?04dcarraher

I pre-ordered it yesterday too for the total price of £48.13 (Windows 7 Home Premium E) at Amazon.co.uk, and according to M$ you get 2 discs: 1 is the 32-bit installation, the other is the 64-bit installation.

According to the terms and conditions of the pre-order guarantee on Amazon you pay whatever price Amazon listed it as "at the time" you bought it, so those who bought it for around £48 are lucky :), because it is true now it has gone upto £74 :P

@ stereointegrity If your in the USA you can either buy the upgrade version whichmeans you need a previous windows installation on your hard drive before you can install from the upgrade disc. The Full edition means you can install it onto a new hard drive/formatted drive.

My audigy 2 zs doesn't work either. I just put in my asus suprefreme ii card that came with my motherboard, sounds the same.JigglyWiggly_

i'm probably buying a tesla personal supercomputer soon, do you think there will still be too many bugs when 7 releases for me to use on it, or would it be safe?
