So where will GTA4 be set in?

Ok obviously it can't be the previous 3 cities and it can't be london because that game was a complete flop on the PS and only a expansion + The Getaway is doing it very well by the looks of things.

I'm personally saying ITALY

liberty city, vice city, and san adreas were all maps from the original gta1.

following the trend, it'll either be london '69 (most likely), or if they decide to skip it, it'll be the asian-influenced maps from gta2.

or it could go real pro, and beat out those so called gangsters who get killed very day by Russian Mafia or Italian mafia. Now that would be cool.

Also, the black gangster scene is getting really old.

I'd also go for somewhere in canada cause I am Canadian but as far as I know most gang related violence is ussually set in the suburbs, our downtowns don't have too much going anymore, shaddy shops yes (Young Street in Toronto, the main shopping street, is still filled with strip clubs tatoo parlors that also sell fake ids "massage parlors" etc.), but violence I dunno, not that it matters that much. Anyway, I do hear that Winnipeg's core is crumbling and has an extremely high crime rate per capita compared to the rest of the country. I can see I it now, GTA: Winnipeg.

EDIT: and also because it's not going to be Canada I'd really like it to be set in London, I think that would be awesome.

And Winnipeg is so small maybe they can model the whole thing. :) 

They wouldn't do London because The Getaway is doing it and by the looks of things a good job of it.

I'm really hoping it's somewhere in Europe, but it'll be a fictional city anyway (hopefully). I'd quite like it if it was set in Scotland (as DMA, sorry, Rockstar North are from Glasgow): imagine driving round a big old city, with a huge castle and stuff, and heading out into the highlands... that sort of thing would be awesome, a kind of Caledonian San Andreas :)
