Didn't they announce a remake?

Hopefully EA will not turn this new game / remake / whatever is comming soon, on another crapfest like "Baldur's of War 3" or god knows what. -_-

Perhaps it's a remake/port for iOS and Android devices. I'm playing through BG2 right now, and a touchscreen interface wouldn't be half bad.

I also would much rather see a remake or something new, not a "portable" version. If it turns out to be a remake, I will not become a fallen paladin at the end of the game, and create a better character this time :D

They where suppose to do a remake using the dragon age forumla..How ever its been awhile since ive heard rumors on that..Its possible thats what this is..

I hope (just like the rest) that It´s a remake of BG. But It´s more likely to be port for Ios and Android...In a few hours we shall find out.

With the nauseating agenda that Bi Ware has these days, it's probably "***** Eye for the Baldur's Guy".

I Really think it will be a Remake.

i Hope it is, that way we won't have to through the Outrage of BG3 not living up to the expectations(which WILL happen if BG3 is announced), and it supports the fact that the mayority(if not all, haven't play BG1 in a while) of the portraits shown in the page are companions(if you look at the down-right part of the symbol, you can see Minsc).

But we'll find out in 45 minutes....

Why does Baldur's Gate need to be remade? It's still a great looking game and every bit as good, game-play wise as it was back in 1998.

Not optimistic. I'm sure its going to be an action rpg with three pronged dialogue trees that don't even match what your character says along with hilariously bad romances that will be the only thing the majority of the internet discusses.
