The FPS era of old is finally coming back. Really pumped for all these arena shooters hitting this year.

I just started playing the First Encounter and am loving it. If this is like that, with perhaps some environmental puzzles and huge wide-open levels and the crazy weapons and ludicrous gibs...yeah, I'll need to get it.

Providing they don't try to go all dark and gritty. I'm going to be pissed if they do that. >:(

After Serious Sam 2, I am apprehensive. Although I do look the gnaar's new look; it could be interesting what the other monsters will look like. But to regain my respect, Croteam is going to need to show the PC some love, like they once had for it way back with the first games. That was before they sold their souls to the consoles.

I meant the graphic detail looks great & I love the style (Not too cartoony like Serious Sam 2).

Absolutely. There's a level of interest, but I'm not in great anticipation honestly. Any game built for COOP at least has that aspect going for it, I've found otherwise mediocre games can still be fun in the COOP campaign (Serious Sam 2 remains disappointing) --- so, hopeful but apprehensive.

Serious Sam 3: BFE is a great title name though. Look-up bfe at urban dictionary, that is exactly what first came to mind! Awesome :P

Duke Nukem Forever + Serious Sam 3 = Return of fun, over-the-top shooters that almost everyone missed.

No, merely put DNF on the back-burner. Do not shun it. For if the arcade, skill-based twitch shooters without all that cutscene BS are to rise again, they must stand united.
