I thought it was fun. The biggest downside was that it was short. The physics are very nice and the weapons feels awesome to fire. Now that the graphics bugs are fixed, it's also a very pretty game. I'd totally get it for 10 bucks.

Eh, i'm not the biggest fan of Rage myself but isn't that a little extreme? Game is decent, its not amazing but well worth a playthrough IMO.

AMD compiled the wrong build and left it up for download for 12 hours, and then days passed until the correct build was launched. Carmack raged really bad about this back then. Anyway the game QA is mostly done by the publisher.

Okay, my mistake and my apologies.

Not paying $10 to spend a few hours downloading a 25GB game that isn't even that good.

I had it gifted to me, and I'd say its worth about $10.

The story is practically nonexistant and it has some texture issues, but otherwise its damn fun. The combat is some of the best combat in a game, with guns that feel right and AI that varies wildly, changes up as you go on, and are actually pretty damn smart.

I don't think I'd want to pay full price, but at $10, shooter fans should really check it out. The driving is unnecessary though and feels so out of place and boring.
