Question on HL2 Episode 3 Preview

when i first type in www.gamespot.com, there is a preview down the bottom titled Preview: Half-Life 2: Episode 3. The caption reads "Alyx dies. Oops. Pretend you didnt hear that..."

is the link some kind of April Fools joke? i cant access it. when i click onto it, it reloads the Gamespot homepage, with the preview gone. i ran a search and it doesnt even exist?
