PC-Monitor to PS3??

Hey guys, I've got a question about my PC Monitor. The connection plug from the monitor to the PC is DVI/D, and it's also got a D-Sub input. I currently run my PS3 on an old 720p HDTV via component cables (the 5 cables each with a different colour). I'm interested in any possible ways to connect my PS3 to my LCD Monitor because its way better than my old HDTV. So basically what I'm looking for is PS3 to DVI/D or D-Sub monitor connection. Is that possible?

If it supports HDCP, it can work with the PS3. I have my Samsung 23" 2343BWX hooked up via hdmi->dvi adapter from monoprice.com and its running at 1080p. If it doesn't support HDCP, then it will not work as far as I know. You will need something seperate for sound though.
