Oh God. You have a wonderful PC but lacks in the GPU.

Without changing anything PS4 will play the game better.

To be honest, this PC is not even a gaming PC.

It needs an R7 265 / 750ti GPU and more to become a gaming PC...

And yes GTA V can run in win7.

If I manually take out the GT 640 and put in 750 ti will easily fit in there?

would i need to do anymore things other then just order the GPU like my power supply an everything will be fine right?

That GPU is pretty bad. If you can afford it, get a GTX 970. Best bang for your buck and you will be able to run the game at max settings 60+ fps 1080p. I do not recommend buying any GPU with less than 3 GB VRAM.

The PS4 will run better, that GPU is weak.

If you own already PS4 get it there, if not I'd say it's wiser to upgrade the GPU because of lower cost and better performance.

Well in case of GTX750ti, yes. You would probably not need checking even the PSU, cause it doesn't need any extra 6pin molex and it needs around 60-70w. So it will be almost the same as GT640.

That's why GTX750ti is the best selling and the most powerful GPU for OEM PCs that they have space and power restrictions.

But checking your PSU it will be better and safer and will allow you to use a better GPU, since the CPU is very powerful and can even use TitanX without bottleneck in 99,9% of games...

So, better check your PSU and your space in the tower.

ah okay thank you, yeah i have small tower, and its OEM motherboard so I don't think I can do any better than 750ti

it would be funny if I could take my ps4 GPU and put it into my PC :P so it gets stronger processor and more ram an stuff

i'll prolly just get the 750ti an hopefully get like 60fps 720p or 900p

750ti 2GB has near similar performance to PS4 (low clocked 7850/7870).

It will give you 60fps even at 1080p but not at max settings.

The motherboard wouldn't be a problem to be honest if you want to use a better GPU than 750ti.

Also if your PSU has 1x6pin PCIE and its around 400w, you can consider using:

Gigabyte GTX 960 Mini ITX and ASUS GeForce® GTX 960 Mini. They should easily fit at your case too. They are far more powerful than GTX750ti or PS4...

It might be a good idea to see what your case looks like inside before upgrading the video card.....

I'd take measurements of the case before buying a new GPU. That being said, you can always get something like this:

@wis3boi: Lol, that's exactly what I thought :) The thing is adorable.

Edit: Also, they don't seem to be expensive. Gigabyte's mini version is actually cheaper than the Windforce version around here.

Well if he meets the PSU requirements, this would be his next target if he wants to spend more than $300 for a GPU.

I posted GTX960 only in order to be easier in PSU requirements and far cheaper.

:P

Damn. Those 960's are short. Do they even need external power?

PS4 has a much better GPU (GT 640 was lowend 3 years ago) but the i7 3770 is literally 4-5 times faster than the ps4's CPU and you have about twice the ram as the PS4

Your literally a decent video card away from smoking the ps4 (with twice the ram and 4-5x the CPU power, I would heavily recommend you purchase a proper GPU). A low profile 960 with an aftermarket powersupply would give you a great gaming machine without breaking the bank
