Not just any necrothread, but the rarest of them all... the NONUPLE NECROTHREAD.

Seriously, over the last 4 years, this thread has been necro'd after being dead for over a month NINE TIMES. Eight of those times, it was necro'd by a new user, who's only post was used to necro this thread. There were also a few more times that it had been dead for just under a month, and got necro'd.

Me or my friends have tried controllers on all those games. Sure alot of them have been listed, but thought i would just post the ones ive tried first hand.

The new Xcom works really well. Metro 2033 and Last Light are also great. Skyrim works, but it works even better if you download the Kontrol mod. The Witcher 2 works pretty great. Arma 2 works, but you have to have to use the keyboard for non-combat comands. Bioshock one and infinite work well, but Bioshock 2 does not. Mirrors Edge works well. Far Cry 3 and Dishonored work swell.

I used to a be a consoler, too.  Just switched when I got a terrific rig.

Xpadder is your answer to ANYTHING.  Game doesn't feature Controller support?  Xpadder will emulate the keyboard on your controller.

It's saved my life a thousand times over.

Half Life 2 / Source games have somehow screwed up their joystick support for gamepads other than the 360 type.I remember being able to configure and play source games ages ago, now it only half works.

Ys Origin is controller friendly. Currently playing through it with my wireless 360 controller.

I would also suggest in addition to gamepad a wireless keyboard and mouse so you could sit on your couch and play games in full hd 1080P. I have a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse.
