first off, i dont want the unoriginal typical multiplayer shooters with stuff like capture the flag and deathmatch. those are good once in a while, but once u've played em hundreds of times, they get boring. ive played cod4 for a while, but that's getting sour....i need something that offers unique multiplayer, something not generally used.

e.g. kane and lynch multiplayer is nice, also i like co-op multiplayer, and maybe crysis's power struggle

I second Left 4 Dead. That game is the best multiplayer experience I've ever had. And, there will be new DLC coming our soon for free!

Both TF2 and L4D are great games and are recieving good support from Valve. They both require teamwork, but get TF2 if you prefer a larger number or players on your team, or L4D if you like working with a smaller group.

Smaller groups are better imo.
