My New PC - Game Recommendations

Just Cause 2 is an awesome looking game that also works well as something that can be played off and on in small chunks.

Hey Guys, Buying my first proper PC in a few days, mainly so i can get back into WoW but i also want a few more games to play when i'm bored :) Do you guys have any recommendations? Don't mind if their old games, but i'd like to test out the graphics card on my new machine so a couple of new, good looking games would be cool! Cheers!Thirtydeadfoxes

You should get :

Crysis

Crysis Warhead (I don't like the FPS genre so much but these games were fantastic and also a great way to test out the power of your pc :D)

Crysis 2 (when it comes out)

Chronicles of Riddick : Escape From Butcher Bay or Dark Athena (another FPS game that I happen to like)

Warcraft 3 : Reign of Chaos and The Frozen Throne (Awesome RTS games)

Age of Mythology and Titan's Expansion (RTS)

Age of Empires II : Age of Kings and Conqueror's Expansion (RTS)

Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 (good games but not a personal favorite of mine. You might just enjoy it though :) )

Fallout 3 (if you haven't played it)

The Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion

The Splinter Cell series (awesome games. Avoid the buggy port of Double Agent though)

Curse of Monkey Island

Grim Fandango

If you like shooters Bad Company 2. If you like RPGs Dragon Age 1 and Mass Effect 1 and 2. For strategy games I would get a Total War and Dawn of War 2.

Bad Company 2 is a lot of fun and has a ton of people playing if you like online shooters.

I recently upgraded to a 560ti card and so far the game that has pushed it the hardest is Metro 2033. Personally I would only advise it to test your system as I found the game quite boring ( just opinion )
