My friend gave me his Bose speakers, some questions about a receiver

So these speakers are the 201 series IV. Total speaker noob here: I hooked them up to my Sony 240w receiver and was just wondering if I should go about upgrading it for the sake of these speakers or not.

Anyone who says Bose sucks- I don't care I got them for free, so adios

I wouldn't upgrade.

Positioning is key due to their design.

I wouldn't upgrade.

Thanks so much. My room is pretty, uh low key and probably not optimal, but hopefully I can get it set up pretty nicely.

I still have those speakers. They're not bad by any means. You don't need a better receiver to power it. I was using some JVC from like...1998 for them.
