Maffia 2 on steam for $7.50. worth it?

Whats your opinion on the game? Better than the first one? If I liked the first one would I like this one. Just curious. thanks.

It's a console version of mafia 1 -- which was a dedicated PC game

The part about mafia 2 that's better is smoke on burnouts and drifting in old muscle cars. Outside that it's your classic console game with a covering button known from rainbow six vegas

The story is a total copy of godfather with minimal freedom in this sandbox game to the extent you can't even save in the game ( r o f l )

When I played through it I spent more time pressing fire during cutscenes than playing.

The wanted system is flawed in that you can gun down the whole city, go into a clothing shop, steal a suit with no bots outside and puff your free.

They should have gone with their own ideal from part 1, their own game features and concept instead of making it into a main stream graphics display.

Instead of going more sandbox they went graphics and story really /edit and the story sucks, royally

And yea its totally worth it graphics are really top notch and story wasnt bad, i personally didnt like the ending and i still think the first one was better.

At 7.50 its worth it, its a fun game that gives a feal of that time era. But outside of that the game is average in everything esle.

Worth it imo. Its short in length, but I had more fun with Mafia2 then I did with GTA IV to be honest.

Some of hte best voice acting around, good story and fun combat.

More freedom and longer story woulda been nice though.

HAha, yeah I watched my friend complete the game and we were like, "wait, is this the ending?!?" then the credits started rolling lol, the ending is lackluster.

Although its probably a decent game, I haven't played it myself, not really going to get it now either.. But my friend, and my GF both love the game.

Terrible game, excellent graphics and driving.

Not worth it IMO.

For $7.50, hell why not? A good deal there.

You know what the sad thing is? If you buy JV and JA, it'll still be cheaper than buying just the game itself when it came out.
