League of Legends Graphic Update questions?

I've only been playing League of Legends for a couple months now, but I saw recently that they were giving Summoner's Rift a graphical update. I'm a little unsure about the time line of patches, but when could we except this update or at least get some more news about it? Also, I know they are just doing Summoner's Rift, but would they be updating the other maps as well?

They are starting with one map, then will move onto the others.

They aren't a big development team and they still have to maintain the game, so give it time.
