I am assuming I can use the RAM I have now in my PC.  I have 2GB of PC3200.  I also plan on getting a SATA Raid drive for it, I assume they are better then IDE (faster).

I think that looks great for that price! And yes you could use your ddr 400 memory in there and sata drives are faster (although not that much fatser as they are in theory). Make sure it's second generation (3.0) sata. You would also need a new graphics card.. For that it would be wise to wait a couple of months for the 8600 series and Ati's dx10 offering.

Damn I never see deals like that where I live..

I am on a budget, I cant afford the Duos.  This is the best I can do.  Gonna wait till I can get a good GPU for it as well.

I cant afford a $900 CPU :D  I will stick with AMD, more then enough for me.  Heck my AMD 64 3200+ is not all that bad, but I think my video card is a bottleneck.

I'm not a intel fanboy,i just prefer C2D over athlon 64,and i didn't say that wasn't a bargain,in fact its a pretty decent deal IMO,but all i said was that C2D is better.

preffering is loyaism in other words fanboy, if u would of sayd ''at the moment c2d/intel is better then ur not a fanboy'' but from ur recent posts u are, and its funny a while back u were a amd fanboy makeing threads sayin dont reccomend c2d cause amd is lower price and better atm, :lol: if u want to fit in here, u gotta put the fanboyism down, i did, i know intel is better at the moment and i dont say amd pwns intel anymore :lol:
