Is there a list anywhere of games that have issues with Vista?

Hey you guys may remember me, I just got a new laptop and was looking for game recommendations. Some games like Divine Divinity and American McGee's Alice run fine but I have problems with Painkiller. It installed fine, but now when I go to play it it says it cannot read disc and then will not eject cd until I restart my computer. Is this a Vista problem, and are there other games that do this? I've searched around and cannot find anything like this.

It doesnt sound like a Vista problem - could be your disk drive. Try running the game in compatability mode w/WinXP. There is no list for games that "have issues with Vista".

There is a list somewhere of games that dont work on Vista at all - but that's not the case of Painkiller, I know because I played it on Vista x32

Do you have the latest game patch?

If not Google: Painkiller patch

If that doesn't work, perhaps whatever disc protection system it uses requires updating?

If you have installed Patch 1.64 then you're up to date. GS has some patches posted.
