I think going sli gives you only a 30 percent boost in graphics. I think its better to wait for a better graphics card to come out than to go sli. I think a new graphics card is typically around 30 percent better than the past graphics card.

Has sli technology got any better to get more power out of both graphics cards? Theres so much graphics power wasted when going sli, thats why I wouldnt go sli.

It depends on the game. I know that a lot of games give you around a 90% increase with the radeon 6000 series. 30% sounds really low. I think it's usually a lot higher than that

30%?! where the heck do u get your cf/sli benchmarks from?? LOL nooo dude you get at least 50%+ depending on game but the major games usually have a special profile AMD/nvidia make for it and gives you about 90% usage like the guy above said, just make sure your mobo is capable of producing x8 out of both pci express 2.0 slots are occupied and you will be good
