I have a 32 inch Vizio HDTV 1080i is what it is set as on my PS3. Would buying blu rays be worth it or is it only worth it in full 1080P?

Dude I have a 32" Samsung HDTV that only goes to 1080i and Blu-Ray still looks AWESOME on it. To be honest, it is hard to tell THAT much difference between 1080i/p unless you are a video nut. I for one think Blu-Ray is worth it, but I guess it depends on how much you care about the detail of the picture.

I am will to bet that both of your TV's are LCD yes? and they dont display 1080i they only except the signal and downscale it to 720p or 768p ok so to answer the original question I think blu-ray is only Worth it if you have a large screen and it is 1080p otherwise on a 32" 720p TV a decent upscaled DVD will not look much different, but the blu-ray will still give you better sound if you have a good home theatre system.

If you only have the tv then I say no, just from the price point blu-rays are still more expensive. Also video isn't the only thing that is improved, the audio has a big improvement so if you have a nice surround sound to go with it then it is worth it.

I say Blu-ray is worth it for sure. I have a 1080p Sony Bravia LCD and the Blu-rays look amazing. The difference between 1080p and 1080i is noticeable but not by a wide margin.

yes, but it is best enjoyed when you play them on a relatively large high definition screen with high quality 5.1 PCM audio. The better option is to get a projector, which you can get a screen larger than any commercial television and go from a mere 60 inches to a huge 200 inches, although a bright projector is reccommended for that size.
