We still dont know much about the RV670xt (hd3870) but it may outperform even an 8800ultra. The HD3850 is better than the 8800gt but we dont know how well the new 8800gts will perform so it maybe be something like this:
8800gt > hd3850 > new 8800gts > hd3870

your greater than symbols are backwards
I think wklzip meant it as a progression symbol, and not a "greater than"

my bad, i have algebra this semester:P
All is in sort of speculations, with some odd reviews here and there. I personally am looking forward to the 8800gt, as I only deal with midrange computers. I always believe in bang for your buck, rather then best for most, and this may just replace my 8600GTS that is only 'mediocre' and kind of poor in some games, simply due to the price of this card, making it not really worth while.
Anyone can give me a link to some info about these new cards? Its being said GT variant will be released on 29th allready and I can see no info about it at all.PullTheTricker
wait, give me one sec, ill search for the link
edit: found it, 8800gt to be available at the launch
