if CS:S works, will TF2 or left 4 dead work?

hi, i was wondering if my computer can run CS:S at 20-30 fps on highest settings and 1200x800 resolution will i be able to play TF2 and left 4 dead when it comes out? i would be fine with lowering the rez to get higher framerates.

If highest settings includes AA, then yes. If it's without, then you should be able to play TF2 but Left 4 Dead is questionable.

TF2's requirements are considerably higher than CS:S. Don't get fooled.

CS:S recommends 2.4 ghz and 512 ram, TF2 recommends 3.0 and 1 gb of ram.

So yes, of course you will run it if you run CS:S very well, but don't expect the same performance at all.

It'd be a lot easier if you just told everyone your specs.

I doubt TF2 will run well with those specs, unless you lower most of the settings down.

Honestly 25-30 FPS is extremely low for CS:Source. Any decent PC should be able to max it and get 200+ FPS. That same PC would probably get around 60-80 FPS when playing TF2. TF2 has much better graphics is a little more steep in the system requirements.

Unless you want the game to look even worse, you can't lower the resolution, as you're playing on a laptop. I suppose you could get a USB KB&M along with a CRT monitor in order to play at 1024x768.

TF2 is alot more demanding, i have both. The card you have is integrated and not really meant for gaming (laptop right?) so you should be happy with being able to play CS:S but you should be able to play TF2 if you lower the settings probably low-med.
