Normally I start games and then finish them (the ones I intend on finishing) later on. Â I have started The Witcher 2, Bioshock, Dead Space 2, LA Noire, and Max Payne 3. Â I am always playing Dark Souls as well. Â (That's 6 games!)
TIL I need to finish some games.
I can get into almost any number of multiplayer focused games at once and currently do so (switching between Counter Strike, Call of Duty, Payday: The Heist, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Battlefield 3 and the Crysis 2 beta), but I like to keep it down to maybe 3 or so single player games, and try to stick to the same genre or I can start to lose track or get confused.
Right now I'm going through Fallout: New Vegas, the Borderlands games (finished 1, just need to complete the DLC), and Crysis Warhead. When I'm done with one or two of them, I'll move onto The Witcher 2 and The Darkness II.
I play quite a few multiplayer games like BF3, Chivalry, Starcraft II and DayZ. As for singleplayer games, depends. If they're sandbox games like Skyrim and Far Cry 3, I usually play them quite a lot and then I have one main game to focus on, which is Spec Ops right now.
I like to stick to one game until i finish it... but we all know how that ends up lol. Lately i've been pretty good with my rule but sometimes i throw in a few games for variety.
Usually 4.
- An MMO (WoW if I have a decent amount of free time that month, otherwise GW2)
- A competitive game of some kind (Project M, SSF4:AE, SC2, LoL, Dota 2, CS:GO, etc.)
- A game from my backlog
- A portable game
Way too many, I only really stick with one game if it somehow hooks me. My back log is 100s so I'll never catch up and just be able to play one game at a time.

Well if you stop playing you get the best ending in the game.
However many my hard drive will allow at one time. Currently I have five installed but I'm focused on Deus Ex at the moment. I'm also trying to play Far Cry 3, Dead Space 3, Dishonored and WoW.
I play one good game at a time until i finish it, then buy another that might interest me. If i buy a chunk of games at a time, i completely lose my commitment for a game, because i get the urge to switch back and forth, and eventually get bored of every one of them.Â
Right now I'm on a kick of finishing off older games in my library that haven't been completed. I just tackled (in the recent 2 weeks) Saints Row: The Third, Torchlight 2 (though I'm working on my 2nd play through), Bastian and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (single player).
Right now I'm working on.......Borderlands 2.
Usually I bounce through a handful of games, but I just want to clean up my library right now.
I tend to stick to one game and see it through. It's more immersive that way. If I lose interest, and I move to another game.. then I usually never return to the one I played before it. Hence why I have so many games that I haven't finished. Elann2008
This is me all over
Wish i was strong enough to limit myself but I always end up getting multiple games at once :(Â
Since I can remember always had a backlog of games to finish !!
I usully just pick one and game and focuse only on it untill i'm done with it and than move on, however lately iv'e been finding myself constantly switching between games non-stop.Â
I generally favor around 3 games at a time. Â Right now it is pretty evenly split between SWTOR, Anno 2070, and Battlefield 3. Â Though with the recent release of Dragonborn (for Skyrim), I have not played much BF3.
I also dabble a bit with other games; right now, those would be SimCity 4, Trine 2, FTL, and SPAZ
