How long will Windows 8.1 last?

Hey i dont want to upgrade to windows 10 when it comes out. How long will windows 8.1 be supported when it comes to games? Will all games be windows 10 only soon?

Microsoft Support for Win 8.1 will go till 2023.

99.9% of games will work with Win8.1 for quite a few years. By the time games are Win10 only you will have upgraded your PC three times so don't worry.

I bet this could be a long support, 10 year?

Why don't you want to upgrade to Windows 10? It's free and it looks absolutely fantastic.

Many large companies are still using Win 7. So Win 8 support is not going away anytime soon, let alone Win 7.
