RMA that 390?

Pascal is close, could be worth waiting.

If you cant wait, Grab the EVGA since they have the step up program for 90 days where when pascal releases you can pay the difference and get even a better gpu.

Use the warranty. You will get a replacement 390.

the msi version is better, but the evga step up program gives you the chance to upgrade to the newer pascal. here is the link for more info but i would contact their customer service just to confirm

Basically when you buy a card and register it within two weeks of buying it you have the option to step up to a better gpu. You mail your GPU and they send the new one back. So except to be without a GPU for at least a week. Also you need to send in everything that came with the card that you can. This includes the box, and accessories etc.

There is a wait time for the step up program. As long as you entered the program within those 90 days you will be able to step up regardless of how long you have to wait for a new series.

Thanks,

WTF? that sucks - but you've got 3 years warranty - RMA it =)

But if they replace it to one of those GTX970s It's a hard choice, the MSI TWIN FROZR V are excellent cards - I'm not sure about the quality differences if they are at all but the base clock of the white/black ones are a bit lower - shouldn't bother too much for the close period of time but might impact on the long run if you don't want to upgrade too soon.

It's still faster than the EVGA one so I'd get it anyway.

Again - to save money RMA it.
