Gothic series...

So I've got Gothic II and Gothic III enhanced edition on steam. Are they worth playing ? Any good mods you guys can recommend?

Yes plenty of mods to fix as buggy as it was for me i still enjoyed it..But im not as anal as most players about bugs lol..

Gothic 3 is the only of the games Ive playied yet, but I rather liked it :) It was decent without a fanpatch, but quite good with it.

In the end I felt like I liked it way more then I should, the game makes you thrilled every time you advance something in it, the pacing was slow, and even the basic equipment is hard to get, and it was something in the more diciplined of RPGs, meaning that you need to do alot of things in it, that most RPG skip over, it was a great experience :D

Gothic II is AMAZING, it's one of the best RPGs ever made!

Gothic III is enjoyable too, specially if you enjoyed the second, I would say get the comunity patch for Gothic III, it fixes a ton of bugs.

Only played Gothic 3 and while it is a bit rough around the edges, it did have a beautiful world to explore. So if you like to just explore and take in the atmosphere then I'd definately recommend giving the game a shot :)
