It will speed up after some time.masterdratcool, good to hear that lol, I saw 29 hrs and teared.. lmao
Super slow for me the whole time.. it's been about 24 hours and I'm 50% done. So I'm not worried the beta was postponed a bit.. give me another day or so to download the beta :D
Well of course its going to be slow if its p2p, people can only download the files that others are uploading and as the download has only just become available it takes a while for the availability of files to be uploaded can get balanced enough to have a constantly fast DL speed.
I probably explained that terribly, but what the hey.
im uploading like 26kbs(which is high for my speed) and d/l hopefully 1kbs. Sometimes i see it at 500bs.
So consider yourself lucky if u get it in 26 hours.
Why isnt this listed on pirate bay yet?

I forwarded ports 55296-55551 in my router and firewall settings and now its actually downloading from the remote connections, not just the local one's, and its going much faster.
Much love for the port range man...went from like 6-10 Kbs to 900kbs....you sir are win [edit] Spiked at or above 1.0Mbs but for some reason if I'm downloading too much at a time my network can't handle it and I have to repair the connection....still I'd rather have to do that every once in a while than wait the days it would have taken at the old speed.I forwarded ports 55296-55551 in my router and firewall settings and now its actually downloading from the remote connections, not just the local one's, and its going much faster.

Thanks for the tip, worked for me. I had gone into the Config and selected one port and then forwarded that but it looks like it needs the whole range open. Why allow us to enter in a port number when it needs to use them all. I went from 0 Remote Connections to 5 and and getting about 150kb/s+, vs 0kb/s before (although admittedly it did burst up to 70kb/s at times).I forwarded ports 55296-55551 in my router and firewall settings and now its actually downloading from the remote connections, not just the local one's, and its going much faster.
