Dragon Age Question!! Why is Wynn locked to my party??

Hey, so ive been playing dragon age and loving it, for some reason though, i just got Wynn and i cant exchange her in my party for someone different. There is a little Lock icon at the bottom of her icon picture so i cant move her.

So, im wondering, why is this happening and how do i get it to stop?

I assume you are in the mage tower?

I think it's locked because you need her at some point whilst you're roaming the castle. I'm not too sure though.

If you are a non-mage and are at the mages tower to get them to help fight the blight then you have to use her until the end of that section of the game. You'll have it happen in the future too.

right, but im out of the mage tower. I jsut got Shale and before that finished doing wardens keep. ive had wynn for a while

Hmm, have not had that happen to me, are you doing a personnel side quest involving her?
