Considering the violence in the game, that would be the last of your problems. I have no idea if you can skip those parts, but this is not a game for kids that aren't old enough to handle these things.

If your son can handle the blood of his foes splattering across his characters body in real time, he can definately handle a little spicy dialouge.

Haha as mentioned above, if you're buying this game for your son the sexual content is the least of your worries. Loads of blood and brutal decortication of limbs might be enough for you to reconsider. To answer your question, the sexual content is avoidable by simply not romancing any of the characters, e.g. not choosing dialog options that would lead to that.

Yeah this has to be one of the goriest RPG's I've played in a while. Your son should not be playing this if he's not old enough to handle sexual situations.

This is an adult game...Let's put it this way, would you let your kids watch Kill Bill? If yes, then this game is no problem if no, then don't let them play it.

He plays games like Dead Space, GoW etc.. What I mean is I'm not concerned about the amount of violence in it. And I'm not asking for if you think its and ok game for my son. let me decide that. I just want to know if there are options you can use in order to avoid the sexual content.

you might have to wait for a mod to specifically disable sexual content, if one comes out. i haven't seen any option in the game to do this, aside from avoiding the dialouge that leads to it as others have said.

There's no filter for it. I guess you gotta tell your son to avoid the pretty ladies altogether. TALK TO MEN ONLY. Oh, wait.. that's not gonna help in this game either.

Too much? From what i saw, this game has way more dialogue options than mass effect...

On topic: Only way to skip it is to not choose the dialogue unless you wish to mod it youself, you don't have much of a choice no. It's a mature game, meant to be played by adults, they never planned out for it to be played by childs. If you don't want your son playing that part of that mature content than the game should be avoided, altho to be honest i don't see what's the big deal here. There isn't any nudity or graphical sex just sexual references and assumptions of what happens next. If your son understand them the chances are that he already saw such content before, otherwise he probly wouldn't even understand what's going on.

your son should be able to bypass, I dont imagine BIoware would force your character to sleep with another.

With that said, its going to be hard because you A.) dont know when it is coming, and B.) dont know what dialogue option leads to the sex

Anyway, the developers said it is kept PG13. And if you dont mind me asking, how old is your kid? I think whatever romance is in the game, is going to be ok if you let him play gory games.

If your son doesn't attempt to go for it, he shouldn't see it. Its something that's optional in the game, so as long as he avoids those options, he should be fine.

No you cannot filter sexual content out...BUT, the sexual content is no worse than an afternoon soap or PG movie, imo. I would say kids see far more complex sexaul relationships on TV and FAR more skin.

The Sexual content in the game is about as much as you get in a James Bond film.

Though tbh wouldn't you rather him growing up knowing what Sex is rather than swinging a sword around killing people? lol.

I can't imagine the sexual content would be worse than the Witcher. And that really isn't any worse than what you see on TV (actually probably not even nearly as bad as that)

The sexual content is limited to a cutscene that's like... 20 seconds long with two people in their underwear. No phallic objects or *completely* bare boobies for your boy to be corrupted by (^_^)

Not really, it's against the law for a minor to purchase the game, but not to play it.

it's not even against the law for a minor to buy it. it's only illegal for the store to sell it. if a 9 year old managed to buy the game the clerk/store would get fined, not the kid.

I love north america, you let you kids play games doing things that if it were real life he'd be in prison for life or possibly death row. While if it involves something natural, perfectly legal, and actually a necessity of life you don't want him exposed to it. Pretty good logic.

Now now. I'm American and have no problem with either content. The Euros seem to move the same way with violent content. My son gets bored with sexual situations (he's 11) and leaves to do something else if he's watching me play. We're not talking porn here I think. I get tired of the thought police telling me that this or that is bad. I agree with the OP though it is his decision to let his kid play or not. Also I don't let my boy watch Kill Bill but I have no problem with him watching me play games. He knows they are not real and only games. I also make a distinction between games and movies for kids. I think that movies are harder to distinguish between reality and not for kids compared to games.

Actually, I dont want to give spoilers out so I will put this in a spoiler.
You will be forced to choose whether you conceive a child with Morrigan, or die later on. Its ****ed up, I know.
But yes, you will not be able to avoid it. At least in that one instance.
