Considering the violence in the game, that would be the last of your problems. I have no idea if you can skip those parts, but this is not a game for kids that aren't old enough to handle these things.
This is an adult game...Let's put it this way, would you let your kids watch Kill Bill? If yes, then this game is no problem if no, then don't let them play it.
He plays games like Dead Space, GoW etc.. What I mean is I'm not concerned about the amount of violence in it. And I'm not asking for if you think its and ok game for my son. let me decide that. I just want to know if there are options you can use in order to avoid the sexual content.
Can someoen tell me if they are as many dialogue options as mass effect? I wanna know because i think they were to many for me in mass effect.dakan45More since the game is a lot longer.
There's no filter for it. I guess you gotta tell your son to avoid the pretty ladies altogether. TALK TO MEN ONLY. Oh, wait.. that's not gonna help in this game either. He plays games like Dead Space, GoW etc.. What I mean is I'm not concerned about the amount of violence in it. Too much? From what i saw, this game has way more dialogue options than mass effect...
On topic: Only way to skip it is to not choose the dialogue unless you wish to mod it youself, you don't have much of a choice no. It's a mature game, meant to be played by adults, they never planned out for it to be played by childs. If you don't want your son playing that part of that mature content than the game should be avoided, altho to be honest i don't see what's the big deal here. There isn't any nudity or graphical sex just sexual references and assumptions of what happens next. If your son understand them the chances are that he already saw such content before, otherwise he probly wouldn't even understand what's going on.
your son should be able to bypass, I dont imagine BIoware would force your character to sleep with another.
With that said, its going to be hard because you A.) dont know when it is coming, and B.) dont know what dialogue option leads to the sex
Anyway, the developers said it is kept PG13. And if you dont mind me asking, how old is your kid? I think whatever romance is in the game, is going to be ok if you let him play gory games.
No you cannot filter sexual content out...BUT, the sexual content is no worse than an afternoon soap or PG movie, imo. I would say kids see far more complex sexaul relationships on TV and FAR more skin.He plays games like Dead Space, GoW etc.. What I mean is I'm not concerned about the amount of violence in it. Not really, it's against the law for a minor to purchase the game, but not to play it.this game isn't for kids. in fact, you'll be breaking law if you let them touch it. i'm serious.

lol, right... but at least i got his attention. :D
I love north america, you let you kids play games doing things that if it were real life he'd be in prison for life or possibly death row. While if it involves something natural, perfectly legal, and actually a necessity of life you don't want him exposed to it. Pretty good logic.I was wondering if on DA Origins if there is a was to avoid the sexual content like on Mass Effect? Now now. I'm American and have no problem with either content. The Euros seem to move the same way with violent content. My son gets bored with sexual situations (he's 11) and leaves to do something else if he's watching me play. We're not talking porn here I think. I get tired of the thought police telling me that this or that is bad. I agree with the OP though it is his decision to let his kid play or not. Also I don't let my boy watch Kill Bill but I have no problem with him watching me play games. He knows they are not real and only games. I also make a distinction between games and movies for kids. I think that movies are harder to distinguish between reality and not for kids compared to games.
Actually, I dont want to give spoilers out so I will put this in a spoiler.
You will be forced to choose whether you conceive a child with Morrigan, or die later on. Its ****ed up, I know.
But yes, you will not be able to avoid it. At least in that one instance.
