Dont buy games from OLD-GAMES.COM - Where can you buy good old games?

Dont buy games from OLD-GAMES.COM ...GOG.. I got scammed big time. I paid them for legitimate game downloads. All 50 games failed and they wont resond to any requests for help or return funds.. Missing file or asked me to do illegal stuff which I wont do or get into. I hope to save some of you money by letting you know.

So since your all the experts, where is a good place to buy legitimate games from the past. LOve the old first person shooters.

I buy old games only from GoG.com, and I'm happy with their service. For ancient games, impossible to buy, I sometimes just download them from Abandonia, or some other similar site.

I've been buying games from www.gog.com for years and never had a problem.  I'm not aware that they have another web address - so if what you typed is the site you visited, it might be a scam site.

GOG.com is best when it comes to olde games, desura is good for indie games.

GOG has the most straightforward purchase system I ever saw in a DD store, works very fast, requires minimal input, never had a single problem with them... what's this about "illegal activities?"

I'll echo the sentiments of others and say, "huh?"

I have well over 50 games in my GoG collection and every single one of them has worked flawlessly.

There is nothing wrong with GOG. I use it quite a lot. OLD-GAMES.COM is not GOG.com.

old-games.com is not gog. I have no idea what old-games.com is. Nobody here does. It is probably a scam site. No idea how you found it either.Twisted14

A lot of people are using the service and have no problems with it.

In my search for "old-games.com" on Google the second option and the sidebar had GOG, probably because their syntax is similar. On duckduckgo though it just lists a bunch of what are most likely scam sites, like old-games.com, or abandonware.

Why not just use Steam?

Exactly. Don't think TC knows what he's talking about. Which might explain why he got scammed.
