Of course you should! Playing Skyrim on PC have some advantages over consoles - such as visual modding, mods for quests, etc. Since you have alienware, that should be no problem.

PC all the way, always. Consoles don't have any benefit. Even if you say "Iwant to sit back on the couch with a gamepad watching the HDTV",that can bedone with a PC. PCs have a lots ports you can plugin the gamepad and HDTV, using the PC like a console or you can use the PC like a regular computer at a desk. PCs can do pretty much anything.

the mods are gonna probably make this game run even worse.

No matter what pc you have its really unbearable for myself to play it in first person. microstuttering galore. and bethesda has no explanation for it, and only believe it happens on crossfire rigs. but i have to play the game in third person. Even in this guys youtube video, you can kind of tell, that playing in first person is blinding. and it seems he switched it back for the same reasons right before it got bad.

I would be a nice old school hexen feel...but the microstutters are ridiculous in first person, it looks better in third person anyways. If your not into modding......get the game for console.

the only other good thing about the pc game... is you can open a console and type in cheat codes. sometimes i have to use the tlc command....when my player gets stuck in the ground or between some rocks... glitches happen....lol I guess if this happens on console...your only choice is to load up a saved game ha.

if you have a really nice pc with a high end processor and dx11 graphics card. I would recommend BF3 for a pc game. It runs in HD, and looks amazing.

The amount of mods will be imminence, The game is rpg sandbox after all. Recommended to all rpg lovers among us. buy it, borrow it, steal it (joking) but you gotta try it.

Im glad my friends are wise enough to stick it with the hermit roots, and avoid console variations despite owning them.

PC of course, but you'll notice within 5 minutes that this is a console port. The menu scrolling is a dead giveaway.

yes, the complaints you hear about the pc version are mostly because of the higher standards. The game isnt 100% smooth sailing on any platform, but best on pc.

KristoffBrujah

yet the menu still works better with mouse and keyboard, just use mouse wheel, set favorites, set hotkeys etc... Some people crapped all over it because its not the typical pc style ui, but it works. Seriously with a gamepad it takes forever to do anything.
