Just because so many people play it doesn't mean you have to get it. There are plenty of other MMO's that are popular and don't have a monthly suscription.

well i played the 10 day trial and liked it, just wanted to make sure people wouldnt be ditching soon It is a really good game, and dont worry, people wont abanden WoW for a LONG time. Like for example Ragnarok Online is a mostly 2D MMO and was made quite a long time ago, I think around 2000 and the servers are still up and going strong and more people are playing than ever!
