Yesturday i just got crysis =) But when i start the first mission the windows messege come up : crysis.exe has encountered a problem and i can choose if i want to report or not. This happens everytime. Ive played the demo and it works perfectly fine. I've intsalled the latest nvidia drivers. So now i've uninstalled it and now i cant even install it atfer. When its been installing like 10 procent a message comes up : "Erros 1305. Error reading from file C;\Program Files\electronicarts\Crytek\crysis\game\Sounds.pak Verify that the file exists and that you can access it" and then i can choose to retry or to cancel and if i retry nothing happens, it does not load anymore!!

Help please!

My spec: Amd 3500+, Nvidia geforce 8600 gt 256 mb, 1gb ram and i have window xp. I ran the demo perfectly fin with everything on medium, 2x and 1024*764

Strange. I once had a similar thing happen to me. It turned out to be a RAM problem. A long shot but if you have more than one stick of RAM, take one out at a time just to make sure it ain't that. I spent days messing & trying to install until I found the problem.

Is it a hardcopy (disc) you've got or a download? If disc can you try it on another pc?

Sorry I can't help more m8

Try going into the crysis folder and right click the startup.exe. Go into the compability tab and enable administrator mode.

This. Last time I played Crysis, I checked the Task Manager, and Crysis takes a gig by itself.

I found that all the 1300 error types usually have to do with bad ram.

Re-install the game if that still, if that stilll doesn't trying searching for the corrupted file in your disk and replacing it with the damaged one. Or you can try and let someone upload the corrupted sound file.
