Civ 5 vs. Settlers 7

need a fast recommendation and a reason why you choose that game?... thank you guys

Civ 5!

Civilization is imo a unbeatable classic and I think it's one of the oldest (if not - the oldest) still developed game series. I still remember playing the first sid meier's civilization on my atari when I was little. While from the Settlers series I've only liked the two first games... so obviously Civ5 > Settlers7.

Depends on your taste ,Civ 5 is TBS while Settlers 7 is RTS. Both however have similar ways to win; whereas Civ 5 has science, culture, military and score to win the game, Settles 7 has victory points, research or military. I think of Settlers 7 like a RTS equivalent of Civ 5 if not less complex. If you can get past the DRM issues Settlers 7 is a fun game to play.

I own both games, Civ5 is better no doubt.

Civ5 is the best civ game since Civ3, sooo fun.

I bought it on steam the other day on a whim and I cannot stop playing it...

Both are great games, but Civ V is... well... Civ! :D

I honestly think I like DoD/Anno 1404 much more then Civ or settlers or whatever.

But of course everyones going to say Civ 5 OP, since it just came out.

Settlers 7 is little more than a future bargain-bin title. Civ V is a pinnacle for PC gaming and perhaps one of the greatest turn-based games ever on our platform. The answer here is obvious. Civ V all the way.
