run most agmes on best graphical settings.

SPECS:

MOTHERBOARD; GIGABYT EP43-S3L

2 GB RAM

INTEL CORE 2 DUO PU E8200 @ 2.66 GHz

ATI RADEON HD 4850

DIRECTX 10

1279 TOTAL AVAILIABLE GRAPHICS MEMORY

Your computer can run all games out there. You can't max out every game but you can play every game.

Resolution you are playing at? It's a very deciding factor that most people tend to leave out...

Sorry but unless you know what resolution he is playing at that is a terrible assumption to make.

lol...

you will be able to play every game out their at good framerates if you are gaming at 1280x1024 or 1440x900 at most anything higher than that may give you a hard time most games you will be able to opt for medium-high

yeah ha ha maybe he meant max out any game pre 2006.

but no that set up wont come close to running "most games on best graphical settings" if you meant new games, especially at a high resolution. youll be able to run them, but youll have to lower the settings and res til you get a decent framerate

Sarcasm doesn't come across well on the internets. And never lower the res,its god awful...if you can't play in your native res update your pc.Simple as.Scaling is not all it's cracked up to be.

With that setup you meet the requirements for every game; you won't be able to play on a high resolution or with very high settings, but you'll still get pretty average frames and pretty decent settings.

You should be fine for most of the games out there. Some will run better some worse, but generally, you're pc is fine.

If you are running 1280x1024 then for the vast majority of games you will be cpu bound.hd4850 will not be using its potential,i would say an hd 4850's sweet spot would be 1680x1050 or slightly less.Today 1280x1024 is a not so good resolution. In any case overclock your cpu if you can.
