I have no idea what FM2010 is like since I don't play that kind of games.

the other 9 games, CoD:MW is the worst, and I can think of additional 10 or maybe 20 games that are better than MW.

Now, choosing a top ten best PC games of all time is a daunting task but these are the titles that have greedily consumed my waking hours over the years. Civilizations 2 Civ 3 is WAY better

Tropico Don't think it should be in the top 10

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Maybe CoD or CoD 2, but no way in hell MW should be in the top 10

Rome: Total War Epic for its time, still great, but personally I think Medieval 2 is better in every way

The Sims Not worthy of any top 10 award other than sales

Dungeon Keeper Maybe

Command & Conquer Maybe,Red Alert 2 was good too

Im sorry if my preferred game genre is FPS i also enjoy RPG's and RTS's. But my favourite games are those which are in the First Person Perspective, i like being a person. I feel that there is a great disconnect between myself whenever i play RTS's or isometric games as i dont feel like a person. Which i believe immerses me in the game and provides a far more enjoyable gaming experience.

Half-Life 2 isn't as brilliant as the first one: worse I.A. and gunplay. Also, I noticed the absence of Starcraft and Diablo II. The list means no sense for me.

I'll suggest a list which games are recurrently marked as some of the best ones in PC:

-Baldur's Gate I & II

-Planescape: Torment.

-Deus Ex

-Half-Life 2

-System Shock 2

-Doom

-Quake

-Starcraft

-Diablo II

Uh, good for them I guess? I still thought it sucked and was one of the worst FPS games I've ever played. If Steam allowed me to give games away I would gladly get rid of it.

not many of them would make my top ten but whatever. splinter cell chaos theory is one of my all time favourite pc games but probably wouldn't feature in many people's

Ondoval

These are definitely some of the best and most influential games in history, and not just for the PC platform either but for gaming in general. The argument could be made for replacing Doom with Civ 3 (Quake was better and more influential than Doom imo), but other than that the above list=win.

I can definitely agree with the command and conquer franchise...

I loved C&C and C&C RA (those are my 2 favorites) but Red Alert 2 and Red Alert 3 not so much (after the first RA, the RA series started going down hill) but the first RA is the beginning of C&C (look it up)

C&C tiberian sun was great, along with C&C 3... (people in here praising RA2 so much, it was fun, but no where near the best C&C, it started going downhill at that point. and RA3 was a joke)

This is the only game/franchise I will comment on, in this thread atm.

It always makes me sad to see Myst get so little attention these days, I'm glad it at least made the honorable mention list.

I certainly love Tropico but I personally wouldn't include it on my list. It would have to be SimCity 2000 in its place, and I'd add Deus Ex to the list. These lists are always very subjective; Just goes to show there is no hard and fast opinions of what is good or bad. ;)

P.S. Great seeing Myst there, although Myst III: Exile is my favourite.
