So I'm looking for a road racing game where the traffic is randomly generated. I have very fond memories of burnout1&2 even with their limited number of tracks and predictable traffic. I was totally dissappointed with burnout 3, that's not what I'm after. Any suggestions?

Like I said, wasn't impressed at all with burnout paradise. Heard about NFS before. Is there plenty of traffic on the roads and not just a dribble like in paradise?

driver San Francisco might appeal to you. Its mostly racing and has traffic i actually though it had to much at times which made it hard to drive but its there and sounds like its what you want.

If you have a console, midnight club los angeles has a nice display of city traffic.

It's all about the random traffic. There's no point in street racing if you know where every car, bus or truck is going to be. Will see if I can find some demos, thanks guys. And Alan, I don't have a console any more but I see that midnight club evolved out of midtown madness which I might try too.

You're right, my mistake. Haven't played takedown or revenge. Are they any good? Any random traffic?

Try Test Drive Unlimited 1 or 2, they're open world racers with random traffic and the multiplayer is integrated into the freeroam gameplay
