Assassins Creed 2 Box Art [Fan Made]

I made this today after seeing all the new screens and the trailer for this game. Took me a fair bit of time but this is definatly something id like to see on the shleves when it comes out. Please tell me what you think.

I got the colour from the trailers and the time period, especaily from Leonardo Da Vinci blueprints ect. Didnt want to make it too much like AC1

NO, yellow is GOOD. We don't want the same color, we want something new! :) If it's a #2 game, it has to be different. Yellow adds a more mature, yet middle-easter feel to it. It's great.

I'd suggest sticking with the game's theme with using white as a primary cover, but it does look good.

Packaged that with a white color cover with Altair on it and it'll be marvelous.

Edit: I also recommend replacing the second screen with the first screen and the fourth screen with the third screen to work out the color palette better.

the yellow is good. reminiscent imo of da vincis diagrams and stuff on parchment.

I can see the front now. I have to say, this is bettter than most covers. I say you pirint it out and take it up to Ubisoft Montreal. I'm sure that they would accept it. Less work for them.

I mean if Ubisoft is going to introduce a new character then they could at least add a different personality in the character. So far already shaping up to be another rubbish game, lol.

Or maybe during Charlemagne's reign, in France and Spain. This one would be more likely, since Altair was only "in the middle of the timeline".

I dont understand why people here want to stick with the old, white style. I love the yellow, it blends with Ezio nicely and also reflects the DaVinci stuff from the teaser. Great job!

I have a doubt, are we going to play with Desmond again on this one? Because I wanted to know how his story ends up... They can do pretty much what they want with the trilogy if they explain what's going on with that dude...

Doesn't look bad at all, as others said, it does look profesionnal other than the spelling. The only thing that i can see would need a bit more work is the text on the back. For some criticism as to what could be better.

The quote seem a bit big and the text looks cluterred and shaky at the same time. How can i explain that, it's the composition of the elements that makes it this way, if you want to make a paragraph, make some spacing between them because as of now, it just looks like you punched a random hole in the text block. Having an image mixed in the bag makes reading harder, if you want an image in the back, it usually have to blend a bit with the background so you don't disturb the text harmony, either reducing the opacity or using a different image like a blueprint of Da Vinci would have fit perfectly there. That would make the backside design breath some more.

Nice and I like the yellow-ish backgrounds because yes it does seem like it would fit the time period so I agree with you.
