I'm looking for a 30+ hour single-player game with good graphics.

Any genre, as long as it's addicting.

Define good graphics. A game from 2003 looks good to me so keep that in mind but try:

Mount & Blade: Warband

Medieval II: Total War

Arma 2

Unreal Tournament 2004 (I'm at 50 hours with only bots)

Dragon Age

Definitely ME2. Or OB with mods. Or Morrowind with MGE.

You could play STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl for 30 hours. You'd probably beat it once or twice and use some mods though.

Don't bother with Unreal Tournament 3. It looks better but all the players are in 2004. Not to mention they stripped a lot of features and killed the feel (arena games just 'feel' right and UT3 doesn't).

Mount & Blade is amazing. I would easily put it at the top of any list for addictive games because of how good it feels and the thrill of combat. Not to mention mods galore for the original and some being developed for the expansion. Look up youtube videos to see what I mean (Warband looks better so check that out). Forgot to mention Warband improves on the original in every way and is stand alone so if you get Mount & Blade then buy the expansion only.

Yeah I was thinking that '04 would be better than 3.

I'll look into those.

Just Cause 2 is a really good single player game with good graphics. I haven't beaten it yet but the way it's been going it should take well over 30 hours to fully complete the game. Not to mention it's just plain fun roaming around causing mayhem. If you're a fan of mercenaries definately check it out.

Yeah GoW3 does not belong here but it is like 20 hours long. Any RPG will fill your time request.

Let me put it to you this way. I only purchased UT3 for a complete conversion mod called Renegade X. The actual game was stripped of everything that made UT2K4 so great.

TES:Oblivion - Fallout 3 - GTA IV - Mass Effect 1-2

I can spend over 200 hours on Oblivion as it has loads of mods

Same with Fallout 3

Mass Effect offers over 50 hours

Same with the sequel.

GTA IV Can get really fun if you know what to do. Especially multiplayer,

me and like 6 other players became sort of a crew and flew all over the buildings.

Mass Effect 1 and 2, The Witcher: Enhanced Edition and Dragon Age are the only decent games I've played this generation that are at least that length.

You should try Venetica. It's an action RPG with a great story to it. Campaign takes about 30-40 hours if you do side quests. The combat is a lot of fun and has room for different approaches and quick strategies. The environments are well done and the game has a lot of places to explore. Skills are varied and well done. It won best German game but hasn't gotten a lot of reviews on major sites in the US, despite being out in English already. This is one of the few games lately, that have held my attention all the way to the end. Have fun!

It's funny because the TC asked for single-player games, and the length of MW2's campaign in this context is, well, laughable.

Stalker Games ( especially shadow of Chernobyl ) If you do a fair amount of sidemissions and a bit of exploration expect about 30-35 hours Also alot of RTS games are quite time consuming ( for instnance it can easilly take you 10-15 hours to finish a medium size map with 6-8 players in sins of a solar empire ) Finally The Witcher and Dragon Age imo are the best WRPG's this gen and easilly offer 60-70 hours of gameplay ( Dragon age offers more but imo the witcher is the better game) Oh i also recommend Kings Bounty the best Turn based Rpg that can easilly last 50 or more hours

Good graphics?... 30+ hours? Ugh... That one is hard... Most of the oldschool games have 30+ hours of single player game play. Now days the most common thing is 3-15hours... You know Bling bling graphics are important :D

This. Even though it crashed every 5 minutes (almost literaly), I had a lot of fun with Fallout 3. I've actually spent hours just roaming the wastes in that game.
